On Instagram and across social media we are still Lights Architect (@lightsarchitect). Our website is now lagelightings.com, and every old lightsarchitect.com link takes you there.
If you have bought a chandelier from us, walked into our Lekki showroom, or sent us a photo of your living room on WhatsApp asking "what size will fit here?", this note is for you.
From September 2026, Lights Architect has a new name: LAGE Lightings. We did not close, we were not bought, and nobody new is running things. We simply outgrew the old name and wanted one that tells the full story of who we have become. We also did not want anyone to lose us, which is why the Lights Architect name lives on inside LAGE and stays exactly as it is on all our social media.
What Does LAGE Stand For?
LAGE stands for Lights Architect and General Electrics.
We built the new name out of the old one on purpose. "Lights Architect" is the company you already know: the design eye, the showrooms, the team that helps you choose the right light for the right room. "General Electrics" speaks to the bigger role we now play on projects, where lighting is planned alongside the rest of a building's electrical work instead of being picked at the end.
Put the two together and you get LAGE. Same roots, bigger picture.
Why Did Lights Architect Change Its Name?
In our own words:
When we started in 2019, Lights Architect was focused on bringing better lighting and design to Nigerian homes.
As we grew, our work expanded into larger residential, hospitality and commercial projects, working more closely with architects, interior designers and developers to create spaces where lighting is part of the architecture, not an afterthought.
LAGE represents that evolution: a more modern identity for a company built around thoughtful design, quality and the belief that the right light can completely transform a space.

- The company name. LAGE Lightings now appears on our website, signage, packaging and invoices.
- The look. A new logo and visual identity, online and in both showrooms.
- The web address. Our website is now lagelightings.com. Old lightsarchitect.com links, bookmarks and Google results take you to the matching page on the new site.

I Am an Existing Customer. Do I Need to Do Anything?
No. A few things that are good to know:
- Keep following @lightsarchitect. Nothing changes on Instagram or Facebook. You can also follow our General Electrics account, @general_electricsng.
- Your bookmarks still work. Old lightsarchitect.com links redirect automatically. Update them to lagelightings.com whenever you like.
